FJ said...Suresh’s fundamental belief in how to commercialize POET is: You can’t have a successful licensing model without first having products in the market. All the big moves they have made have been towards that goal. Trying to sell IP alone no matter how good it looks and the value proposition it promises does not work unless a product has first been built from that IP.

To add to that, I don't think licensing the IP is off the table. Once POET has proven its secret sauce for assembling their patented components in a mass manufactured manner, they could then license the IP if they choose. If those components are successfull, IP licensers may be beating down POET's doors to get a piece of the action.
