Agreed. It is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth that won't go away until the SP is measured in dollars not cents. That is probably also true for the forgiveness of the market. I just don't know what they will be able to say prior to announcing some sort of deal that will not just rub salt in a $100,000,000 wound!
