Message: My PO Scenario

Assuming that nothing has changed with Poet(which I believe), and there could be U.S. Investors/Funds picking up most of the offering. then it is quite possible that these same entities are shorting or naked shorting the stock to cover a good portion of there commitment to the PO. This would put them in a good position to push and promote the stock(if they like what they see), while receiveing a free warrant to make some nice gains and convert later on with no risk.

I believe there has been at least 10 and 15 million shares traded since the annoucement on the 12th of the PO, which could be shares that were sold by these same investors/funds, and not by the retail investors, just to be covered by the PO shares that they have commited to.

Being that the price closed at .76 on the 11th and .63 on the 12th, they could cover there short positions with little or no cost and have a minimal risk going forward if the price is set at anything between 52 and 65. I agree with most on this board that they will end up getting closer to the lowest average price traded. (Believing the worst but hoping for the best).

Assuming they will offer between 20 and 30 million shares(10 to 15 million dollars). This will give them a stake in Poet, at a minimal cost, and hopefully a belief in what Poet has, and will become, and follow what us retailers have seen and been involved in over the last 6 years. I, like many invested here, am not happy with the dilution but still have faith in management and there plans and goals.

It is possible that the shorts would not show until the end of October, if at all. If it holds true that the PO is filled by the 1st of Nov, there would have to be firm commitments in place to buy all these shares, and put this selloff to rest, and hopefully never look back.

Whether this turns out like this or not, I am still a long term believer and shareholder and look forward to being part of this developing legacy company.

Ron
