My point really was that there were many down times for all of the top tech companies and I have decided that I am in it until the end! I believe in the technology and am willing to go run with this until I no longer believe and that belief can only change with news not speculation. For me the money I have invested is significant but not critical to my retirement, in fact it is intended to take it up a few notches only. I am down significantly now but will risk the rest on the belief that it will play out at some point. If that is stupid, fine. I have already had my BMW and can have another whenever I so choose! That being said, you are suggesting rational thinking that isn't necessarily wrong and I am not particularly offended.
