In other words it is good that this competition exists as it points to the need for POET's solution.

And in other other words, it's good that this competition might be exhausting precious resources on what is likely a dead-end pursuit. One more reason for POET to stay under their radar to allow them sufficient time to empty their guns into their own feet.
