Their silicon photonic product is scheduled for: "The startup’s first product is slated to be a 400 gigabit per second transceiver, aimed at data centers. The team plans to make it available in 2019, which is when the first data center switches with 400 Gbps ports should appear"

So this gives POET the Timeline lead on introduction of their data centre product(s).
