Dear POETEERS,

When someone posts nine times in a day using a mildly negative tone, particularly just after what is generally seen as a positive, if not rather exciting, news announcement, I think it is reasonable to conclude that a degree of low level bashing is taking place, however much justification that person can offer for delivering their tirade on the basis of wishing to take a more contrarian view of POET's progress rather than the usual chirpy posts

However, I am concerned that the perpetrator offered no evidence or argument but just bland opinion. Even so no banning is justifiable to my mind, on the basis of what is just low level gloomy criticism and one can even reasonably forgive such posts, albeit that on this occasion the level repetition was particularly annoying. But, what is totally unforgiveable is the poster's conceit of making a personal comparison of his/her work with the outstanding work of that arch gloom ScaryRacoon, whose comments here are always well considered, well argued and even annoyingly convincing.

Surely such comparison is a dastardly slur against ScaryRacoon's good work and deserving of immediate retribution.
