Jackthebear: Fair enough ,that being said where do the tech minds think a realistic figure lies for nre's on a integrated chip????

Oh, according to what I have heard NREs are usually in the one- to two-figure range. Millions, of course. However, I have no idea of what this could look like with POET.

Anyway, I don't think we'll generate proceeds from NRE this year, because POET expects to negotiate higher NREs when there's better and undeniable verification for its technology to work and to deliver the expected yields, i.e. when the integrated VCSEL transceiver is on the market.
