Well, Steve, I called her out on her very first post, where she essentially insulted everyone here except the techie elite.

But I think you're going a bit ballastic here, you've made your point, with which, theme-wise, I am in agreement . She either originated or helped to spread rumors, which, I will always believe, were plants by certain people (do I sound like Trump?), and, no, I have no evidence of that, other than it happened over and over again. Some of the people who were used, were used unwittingly; to the extent she was used, it was "witting" on her part - she is far too smart to be duped by stuff like that.

Far and away the worst was the rumor that AAPL would be taking a 10% stake in POET fairly soon for, if memory serves, $10 billion (it could have been $1 billion, but either way). On second thought, perhaps it was not the worst, in that who in the world could possibly believe that? I marveled, along with some others with whom I correspond, at such a rumor being spread by a very savvy person. If you take stupid off the table (which I do with Eileen), what are you left with?

I think whoever she was, she had certain issues which she really didn't hide. Hope my spelling and grammar are okay, I'm typing this from my first class cabin kiosk, after an overnight flight from London (oh, those Brits, so long-winded, caused me to have to turn down the CEO of a very influential company who asked if I'd like to hitch a ride on his Gulfstream G650, so much nicer than his old G550!), and I've got a high level meeting an hour after I land.
