Dear Gilver,

Thanks for the many thoughtful and thought provoking posts. I value your contribution here very much.

The main aim for PTI has to be the fully integrated chip. Yes, VCSELs are on the critical path and are important, but what will put a smile on our faces, would be the early delivery of the main aim - the fully integrated chip. Management, I suspect, want to demonstrate they are rather special. They want to make an impact and this is why they chose to be part of a POET led 'revolution'.

Let me elaborate. We and they are hyper aware that time is of an essence. We have as Chairman a leader who has gone on a tangent to the mainstream and is on record for advocating the cooperative fab 2 approach, where the engineering, not scientific invention, is organised as collaborative effort between parties. Surely there is every reason that we shoud expect Ajit and his prodigies SV SD to practice what he preaches. Conjecture on my behalf sure but is this not the challenge that Ajit and his team would wish to demonstrate to the community that they inhabit. Their motivation is not the progrees of SP, it is the establishment of their their long considered belief in how IC manufacturing must evolve.

My point is: is it not unreasonable for us as investors to see the benefit of this inovative, creative mind deliver what must be a life long ambition.

I am hopeful that we will see the desired outcome of Ajit's theories, which are simply a quicker route to product delivery of complex products. The target is the fully integrated chip that will power AOC and lead into a raft of similarly integrated products across the data centre world.
