Lots of discussion on various topics, many of them negative lately. Often, it seems, when all of this negativity arises on this board, we see a reversal in the direction of the SP, here's hoping that happens. Many of the posts have been very positive as well, and thanks (to many) for the input from the AGM!!

Nothing about the options surprises me, a very common situation. Some feel POET is rewarding themselves too much. I won't comment on that, but it is very important to keep in mind that if POET does not execute, there is no reward for these options as they will be worthless. The shares received for the purchase of DenseLight and BB Photonics will also be worthless. I do not see this happening, just my opinion. I believe POET will execute, I just do not know when this might be, but it does seem closer (although I have felt this for quite some time).

I think obtaining (and proving) the disruptive technology is taking longer than many originally anticipated (me included). There were many complaints about not knowing what POET was doing, but I think we have a much clearer understanding of that. Communication could certainly still be improved, but it is better. One thing lacking somewhat is communicating for a public company. This won't matter too much in the end if they execute (although currently painful at times), and I imagine that will also improve. I am very happy with how focused management currently is.

There are many complaints about the timing on NRE moving (over the past couple of years). It was mentioned that POET had stated that they could already have signed a deal for NRE, but want to wait until they have the fully integrated chip, and sign for a lot more money. I think previous management would have already signed a deal for lesser NRE, which likely would have been a big mistake (long term).

As for anyone feeling that there currently is gloom and doom, which can easily be fueled by the current SP, I point you to the AGM presentation from Suresh (slide 4 - bold is mine) "POET team executing to plan on Lab to Fab to Monetization of it’s highly disruptive POET Platform"

Nuff said, Good luck!!
