Babaoriley: We've talked a lot about detectors and tons and tons about VCSELs, now how about "build(ing) the transistors." What kind of challenge does that pose in this process of optimization and integration?

As Mazan4 pointed out, the electronical side (transistors) is already optimized. So that's good news!
