Shorting and options - two red herrings that have this board mesmorized like a cat pawing at a suspended ball of twine.

There may be some hoping to push the price down so they can buy a few more.

There is one issue that dwarfs the rest as of now: how good will the level of refinement POET can achieve in the integrated chip be? If that integrated circuit can surprise to the upside as much as the detector apparently did, we will at least stop talking about shorting. I don't know that the option bone will ever be wrested from the jaws of a few here. I just hope they are being short-sighted.
