@Mazan

Thanks for taking the trip for our benefit!

I only have one question (with a follow-up), and it's kind of along the lines of OrangeCat's question:

Should POET be seen as an optical engine company, or an active optical cable company? Or should we still be viewed as possessing the "Holy Grail" of computing that attracted so many of us longs over the last 5 years?

If we still consider ourselves as the holder of the "Holy Grail" (See patents, SBIR write-ups, etc.), then how can we capitalize on the rest of what POET can do in the case of a buyout offer?

I find myself worrying less about technology risk, market risk, etc. and more about how we can get the full breadth of POET out into the wild before attracting the attention of companies that can't afford to let us grow.

(BTW, I know they will want to bring the focus back on the next 18 months, but I will be worried if they don't (a) reaffirm POET's breadth of application; and (b) acknowledge the danger of giving away 95% of POET's potential to a company buying us for AOCs)
