When I heard Suresh refer to the 18 month time-frame, I thought he was referring to the time that was required to bring the first Poet product to market from when he joined Poet in June 2015, which is Q1 2017. (which was based on the resources/partners Poet needed for the process)

And I agree with what you stated, tannersfriend "These 18 month of time saving will apply to new products and processes they now can start, e.g. the long distance network chips they can now develop with the IP of BB and DL. Here they can save significant time with own prototyping, testing and production."
