Message: They need an IR (Investor Relations) expert

Agree that although THM was informative it was not necessary and probably created unrealistic expectations for many on this board. Look back at all the posts leading up to the THM and what most were "HOPING" for. Companies like POET need to have an expert IR person who gives the exec great advice as to what, when and how to communicate. Ths needs to be done in a consistent manner so that shareholder expectations are as realistically aligned with what the company is most likely to achieve. External IR people don't have the clear line of accountability that is essential. They also by their nature are working on many other companies with diverse products and services so may not be able to deliver the kind of focus and carity that is essential. Given POET's unique new products they need to have someone who is capable of communicating in simple straightforward terms to the mix of interested parties in the market (retail, big institutional and finance houses). This is going to become much more critical as POET branded products are sold in the international markets. The exceptional exec we have are focused on the technical development side and acquisitions. They need someone that is side by side (as products and acquisitions are developed) preparing IR approach in parallel so that the market gets a clear well designed picture of how these pieces fit together and what the expected fnancial outcomes will most likely be.
