It seems to me, from my "lay person" research, that Denselight has a number of areas that could be beneficial to the POET devices other than the facilities. I have a feeling that the expertise in Passive Optical Networks would be an asset to POET. I believe they use passive optical splitters, which create even further power saving etc. I could be wrong, but I think a PON can be designed to be integrated with existing copper infrastructure?
I'd love to know some more tech savy opinions, as PON has been mentioned as a key area of expertise in a couple of articles since the acquisition.
Cheers.
