He is initiating a marketing stunt, probably to attrack some investors and raise money, who knows. IBK have been engaged for 2 years to help Peat ressources restucture their finance.
What we learned from Peat's documents is :
- Peat is pivoting from the ressource sector to Gesture recognition, this kind of manoeuver has happen before (the tech bubble) and will continue to happen.
- Peat is meeting with Gesture Recognition firms to enter a partnership, a financing or maybe a consolidation, we should find out later as there are in "advanced discussions"
- Peat has no business agreement with POET but someone can figure out that their plan is to eventually have something going on with POET
Now you're POET, you have no business affiliation with PET.
Someone come and knock at your door and ask for a licensing agreement of your IP and wants to be the first mover in a specific vertical.
In order to do that, that someone must have a definite plan in mind and some strong affiliations within this verticals or you will not license anything to him.
