Fully agreed, mackwheaton. The science must be in the talk and in the news releases, but it must be translated to a language the target group can understand, i.e. investors. And regarding the technology the average investor is a layperson like everyone else. News releases must contain detailed explanations of
- what a certain technological advance IS
- and what it MEANS.
People like our management team are experts in their domain – and I am very happy that they are –, but that doesn't imply that they are also experts in other domains, like the art of explaining.
POET needs someone who is
- able to understand the technology, at least up to a certain degree and
- able to explain that stuff to everyone.
