Whoever was right or wrong in quoting whomever, I thing it's the highlighted phrase above that matters: no Nasdaq without a "real" partnership in place. And such a "real" partnership in my opinion would be one that brings cash into coffers.

Peter's estimate of Nasdaq in June 2015 was clearly overly optimistic as the partnership condition wasn't fulfilled. And at the time he made that statement he probably hadn't grasped the severity of the sputter tools issue. Later the company's strategy changed anyway.

Well, forecasts are difficult, especially those that are trying to describe the future.
