Hi MP, I saw this news release by Infinera yesterday and that was my first thought. However, the reach is up to 12,000km, whereas POET is currently focussing on short reach and very short reach. Whilst we do not know for sure what Suresh and co are concocting behind the curtain, I would say that this is not POET at this stage of development. GLTA.
