I am confused.
Nothing has changed. But the board clearly shows a nervousness, and short-sightedness that would suggest that something HAS changed. Implicit in so many posts this week is an expectation for the delivery of some sort of news.
I was never aware that mid-March was in fact a deadline. Was it? Is it?
Now Hogan is nervous about cash burn? Why are you nervous today, and not a month ago?
My expectations are that management will deliver some kind of revenue before the end of June (mid-year). More importantly, I expect them to deliver a big partnership w/revenue that will drive the stock onto the Nasdaq by the end of the calendar year. Therefore, I am not worried about the cash burn.
The only legitimate concern I see was brought up by Mack. The low share price makes us vulnerable. But the poison pill helps. Also, the lack of near term earnings clarity for the tech sector might help too, in that most managements out there are not looking to make bold moves right now.
If whispering out of class made you hopeful for some near term catalyst, why not take that for what its worth: a nice potential surprise, rather than turning it into a hard deadline that---now apparently was missed? --stinks of entitlement. Have you ever seen a 6 year old hold his breath and turn red in the face because he didn't get what he wanted, when he wanted it?
