Reading the advice available on patience when waiting reveals little which will help us through this experience. Apart from one fact, which is that sharing the experience with others is helpful, the caveat being that this needs be positive sharing.

Turr's decision not to post is understandable in this context in that his waiting was being turned into a negative experience by others' comments and he did what was necessary to rid himself of those negative feelings by not remaining here. Although continuing to read posts here may not actually achieve the 'break' from the negative feelings he seeks. My advice Turr is that its best ration your self to a daily quick scan of the list of posts and cherry pick only the tasty ripe fruits.

Waiting for news is proving to be a testing time. Our inner baby will cry when deprived of something we need, its a very human feeling, but somehow our adult learned behaviour has to get us past the baby tears. A baby is after all quite helpless without the interventions of adults and needs a mechanism to alert responsible adults but we have no other choice than to man it out and help ourselves.

Before my psychobabble goes to far I'll cut to my point. When waiting causes tensions on this board we should all make greater efforts to be kinder and more considerate to each other, in our choice of words and actions to support each other. Sadly the reverse is often true. Surely, its the small acts of kindness and consideration that are important to get us through not upping the level of winging.

Note that some very useful posters have, like Turr. bowed out in silence and I for one would like to retain them . My appeal to Turr in particular is to take a break but come back please as I find your humble, upbeat and down to earth approach to posting here very comforting and supportive.
