This was discussed here several times. Majority came to the conclusion that Poet built barriers for something like that (search for "bitter pill") so it´s not that easy even for Intel.

I for one still have doubts. When Poet shows up with working products and shows the functionality and "mass-productionality", the interest will rise. We will see if the barriers are high enough or if management has already built some more. They are clever and know this business well so they will have an eye on that, too.
