Message: The Effect of "Words" on POET's SP

I am very bullish on the potential of POET, and was very impressed with what I heard during the CC. I wanted to hear we are on track, and we are, plus more. Having said that, my take on the current SP is that it is not going to rise significantly with sustainability from "words", no matter who they are from. I put a lot of weight into the "words" from what I consider a credible and outstanding management group, however I do not think many investors see it that way with a start-up company. Some industry veterans sure, but not investors.

I think the issue with the SP is that investors feel that all we got from the CC were "words". I liked the words, but following POET so closely also impacts my take on it in a big way. For the majority of investors, I think they are just hearing "words". They also hear "words" from many other companies that feel they have the next best thing (or some that are just full of BS). We do need some evidence (performance metrics, deals, etc.) for a significant SP rise, not just "words", this is how I see it. How do the majority of investors distinguish between the "words" of POET and others? I have no issues with the credibility of these "words" from POET, but the market needs more.

I believe one of the intial catalysts for the SP will be measured performance metrics of the prototype, where the metrics are measured somewhere other than the POET Lab, and not just estimates ("words"). This is coming (proof points), sooner rather than later, and looking forward to it. We also need some metrics on high volume production yields to "disrupt" the doubters. The future does appear bright, and I am highly optimistic, but as always I am not sure of the timeframe for the SP. The "advanced discussions" sound promising.

A pat on the back for Management to not have to report delays due to the Anadigics uncertainty, always good to have contingency plans. I would prefer not to have any business with Anadigics at this point, although I don't think they were ever part of the big plan.

I think that after Ajit looked under the hood quite some time ago, he must have liked what he saw.

I look forward to a break in the so called "buying opportunities".

Good luck!!
