Ok, looks like we have different opinons, I was confused a bit so do some of you....

Did you mean adaption not adoption? I believe they have gone past the stage of using an educational institute to adapt the poet process. They want to get this into the real world, and the only way to do that is by working with manufacturers and using their expertise. But perhaps I'm misreading it.
