When I sit down on Sunday mornings and have my coffee with several newspapers, in the quiet of the dawn, I usually come upon one or more articles on tech related topics.

Unusual eh ?

Humour aside, I have a service at work that does digital clipping for us and provides us with many tech related stories and subject genres from around the world. I present this article not as anything particular. But as containing a few key harbingers of the AR world. I can't seem to shake that whole "pole position" comment about the AR industry. There’s a new entrant in the augmented reality race.

On Wednesday, Meron Gribetz, founder of CEO of Meta, wowed the audience at the TED conference in Vancouver, Canada, with a demo of the company’s Meta 2 headset. It seem clear from the demo that Microsoft's MSFT +0.54% HoloLens and secretive startup Magic Leap have another rival to worry about.
