I do not think any manipulation theory is needed. It is quite obvious:

If I would hold shares and 1CAD warrants, but would have no money in my pockets, I would do the same: Sell as soon as the SP is over 1 CAD, as I always can buy back theses shares for 1 CAD using my warrants. It is so easy without any risk.
