sorry, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect.
since Feb 16th CC is after market close ... during the call POET can proceed to drop all the bombs they want.
if they were friendly about it, around closing time they'd instruct IIROC to issue a halt pending news, issue the news release (before during or after CC, doesn't matter), and then stay halted for a reasonable period of time as the next session's open approaches.
also, as for disclosure of material news-- it's been mentioned here a thousand times -- if the company decides any "material" item is "confidential", the only ones they must disclose to are the regulators. "the market" doesn't have to be told squat about any of it.
if someone wants to point to something in the rules & regs that supports otherwise, I'd really like to hear it.
