I looked for a thread on this issue but couldn't find one.

Would II-VI make the Anadigics and EpiWorks play without already knowing about POET and even a potential customer? The timing seems remarkable, but NDA's would make any link between POET and II-VI seem suspicious, wouldn't it? Why wouldn't POET just go to II-VI in the first place?

So then, did POET's BOD know II-VI would make a play on A & E before they signed their agreements in Sept and Jan respectively?

Or did management at A & E come to the conclusion they couldn't pull the weight on their own, and actively pursue the II-VI deal in order to move things forward?


These are the questions that keep me up at night.
