My understanding of when a company buys out another, there is a legal obligation of honouring the agreements and contracts between the original parties. Agreements and contracts can always be altered and cancelled depending on how things are structured but why threaten the golden goose? That means that 2-6 would not get access to POET IP without having to pay PTK for it. This seems pretty straight forward to me. No different if a company bought PTK. That company would still have to pay a per-unit royalty of 3% to UConn. Perhaps I'm wrong on this, but that is my understanding. Regards. Derekwpg
