yes the SP has roughly doubled, but the count outstanding has also doubled.

so, fairer to say it's held its own, when the rest of the junior index has tanked to 1/5th their value.

not great, but from a comparative perspective, not too bad either, I suppose.

I saw an article earlier in the week that claimed roughly 1/3rd of the entire TSXV (about 600 of the 1800 or so currently-listed issuers) have become essentially zombie shells, that are so cashflow leveraged they don't have enough oomph to even pay the fees to stay listed into next year.

2015 saw 9% of TSXV issuers de-listed. 167 entire companies ... *poof*

and here we are, after 2012's near-death experience, with another 2 years' worth of fully-funded runway.

that being said, it only seems reasonable to want the captain's announcement on Feb 16th to be that yes, we are going to get the **** plane off the ground and into the air!

in fact, I hope he surprises us by saying he's boosted the jet engines with a few hundred pounds of chlorine pentafluoride and hydrazine.

rocket-fuel-assisted take-off?

yes please.

GLAL,

R.
