Nice article and agree with the fact most investors will not be able to make sense of what this actually means as the technology jargon is really quite thick.
I'm a pretty educated guy and have been learning about the tech for a couple months - but I still can't figure out what is the significance of all the technical jargon.
When I write consent forms for research ethich boards I must put them at an 8th grade level. Can anyone explain whats hapening right now in lay terms? May help to attract some new retailors. For example how are these wafers used in poet technologies - are they part of the prototype? the other thing I couldn't understand is how did we go from a optics on a chip (which I understand like a CPU processor - intel) to an optical cable for a data center and how is Poet's technology used in these cables?
This again is at risk of stating my ignorance - but I've tried and can't really get my head around it and don't have the time to. If anyone could help I would appreciate it, as would I'm sure any investors who aren't so tech orientated.
