In December, was there not a (albeit small ?) clamoring of excitement on the potential and potential date of a company CC ? Moving ahead, there was a clamoring regarding the lack of an update early in the first month of the year. Monday morning, an update is released, more clamoring about substance, or lack thereof. Too much clamoring, not enough collaborating and sensible discussion. Too much chin and cheeks and not enough brain and brawn. It takes work to think it seems.

So what are we to learn here ?

-Drop dead date several weeks out leaves room for any unforeseen issues and for any changes in plan.......READ......seasoned management team has their own stone cold lock plan in place based on their combined experience, education, industry history, and all other related inputs and will not deviate for anything or anyone....PERIOD.

-Allows internal industry notification and preparation in advance of the CC.........READ......the finance/brokerage community will be involved...enter Mr. Ferri.

-Leaves room for releases of material information that will or can be be discussed on the CC......READ.............just completed roadshow no doubt explored all these scenearios under NDA's with accredited investors...to delay..to defray and too devoid...risks credibility.

-Datum selected allows for afore-discussed expiry or processing of outstanding remaining financial instruments....READ.....we want absolutely no disruption nor distraction in the marketing momentum ! (Hint-ANAD)

-The closeted and nocturnal wannabe millionaires will have to wait a bit more.....READ....People, you have one of the greatest selections/collections of talent in the technology world stewarding your panacea of POET to a successful ...dare I say....."mega-future". They will do the best for ALL of us, as they see fit.

-VCSELs, and all (or most) other low hanging fruit, will soon be in our sights and in our hands once protypes are produced......READ......if I am at all an industry observer or participant, I am very afraid that without this in my arsenal of products, irrelevance would come, and quickly ! Never mind the full enchilada we can offer.

-Information dispursement, is more than acceptable for our industry.....READ....Have a look at tech titans and how much "granularity" they produce, then be thankful you get what you get. Really, because thats all your gettin'.
