Travelling North from Brynamman over the barren Black Mountains there is a point on a steep bend in the road when a view of the beautiful furtile Welsh countryside of Powys stretching out for twenty miles ahead is revealed. It never fails to inspire travellers.
The recent briefings that were aimed at a new class of investor have consumed critical management time and resources. Whilst the effort was clearly designed to achieve a specific result there has as yet been no SP reaction. One imagines that there will have been a subliminal effect on attendees that may have translated into further enquiry and investigation. It occurs to me that regardless of their assessment of PTI and the POET process, many such investors will remain constrained by the commercial restriction that investment in Venture Capital firm will be off limits. Consquently no investment can be made by this class of investor until uplisting has occurred. So how then will management deliver the desired effect required?
The briefing process will be part of a planned run to the NASDAQ, and as I previously stated , the first part of this plan has been completed. Completed by a management in full possesion of knowledge that gives them the confidence to have begun the process in the first place. My point is that timing is everything and the news necessary to shift SP momentum will have been lined up for release according to a planned schedule.
In September, when we were told to expect results, SV had a clear perspective of the way forward and held in his hand the power to propel his company forward, but as any wise General would do, he had to prepare the ground before him.
I have struggled with the notion of what constitutes a more granular plan, that is shortly to be unveiled, but that notion sure has effectively bought our leader some time with this vociferous shareholder forum, but the hour of delivery of that precise promise must surely be imminent.
Casting an eye back over news releases in the past year one is left feeling rather devoid of real substance since the good old days of clicking off notificatios of technical milestones achieved. Was it not Paul Gagnon that was shocked that such vital information on technical progress was revealed so publically. Since his statement we have rather become mushrooms and kept in the dark about achievements or is it the influence of a notoriously secretive partner that has caused such a dearth of juicy detail we all crave.
No dear friends progress can not be held back forever from shareholders and along with more granular plans we shall, with the new class of investors that have been left hanging, shall be given substance of such significance to drive PTK forward to uplisting. Not to do so would betray the whole purpose of the energy and resorces expended on briefing so widely.
I sense we really are on the cusp and much as in the Welsh Black Mountains a stunning view is about to be revealed of whst is ahead for POET.
