Our timeframe for VCSELs doesn't fit 2016 granted. But what Apple will be interested in, is elsewhere in my mind. We have never been told what the Ringoscillator results were. Strange that it went so silent along with the TRAB. That said having a product in 2016 would be a bit of a stretch, but could never be ruled out, since PET was a lot further down the development pathway.
