In Eileen's ref 'how the semiconductor can be disrupted' I was most interested to see a comment by an Intel Engineer named Malik who says:
'In short - come up with a replacement for silicon (sginificant improvement in performace), but compatible with the CMOS process and economically viable.
OR,
Figure out a superconducting material with a high enough transition temperature (Room temp.) or rather in a range of temperatures.'
