I wonder if PTK had any influence on this decision for Apple to set up on the subcontinent (urged along by AM/SV et al) ?

We are told (in house economists) that India is the next growth market overe the 10-15 years, in everything from construction to technology to social development. They are badly in need of modernization along many lines. I wonder if India (http://bigmacindex.org/)has the want and desire to bring itself along, with as many named corporate entities incoming, one can't help but think things are looking rosy for their future. Certainly PTK is "perfect stormed" to be right in the mix.

Does Apple see savings or sales in this strategy ? Cost savings on the manufacturing end, or an ability to increase unit sales in the country, or both ?
