I received quite a few PM's today which I will work at returning this evening. (Thank You-BTW)
Two of them cited very good examples relating to the significance of a VIP name on the TRAB. One gave the example of a "construction superintendent hired to keep the project on time and on budget-and to oversee full value of all rules, regulations, and codes up to and including hand over of the keys". Knowing very little, if anything on those subjects, I still thought it was very relatable.
The second, and a bit more thought provoking but in a different way, was that of "a product representitive (in memory of my late husband-we'll call Wile E. Coyote) for ACME Co. signing up a new Anvil manufacturer for their product line. He would wear a few hats, like for example, be the QC representitive to be on site on a regular basis, to deliver specifications, ensure manufacturing controls and the best of quality materials are in place. To examine new product, and make sure that the correct quality control vectors are systemized and functioning. To ensure the companies investment in the product and the process, is full value."
Mr. Coyote"s attendance does bring about some very interesting questions.
Those and the potential answers I will leave to the board to discuss.
