Junkers "So,, what exactly are proof points ??"

Great question. There has been mention of patents, new hires, moving to silicon valley. I guess these might be proof points. Patents are obviously very important.

Personally I think the question for me is what "proof points" are critical and will move the stock price. My thoughts on that are performance metrics (power savings, speed, etc.), proof of large scale manufacturing, industry adoption by a partner, etc.

In a nutshell, "proof" that the technology works, can be manufactured, and will be adopted. I strongly believe this will be the case (in fact I am betting big on it), but there has not been enough "proof" about this to satisfy many investors (for example, we need metrics from an independent party, not just estimated metrics from POET), and the stock price reflects this. I believe it is coming, don't know when, but it will happen, and the stock price will follow.
