Hats off to TSMC at achieving what seemed insurmountable obsticales to reach the 10 nm and 7 nm threasholds, There had been no mention of the cost (that I have seen) for the further increased number of smaller transistors by TSMC. I guess Apple sees it as cost effective. That would be at the moment. Eventhough on our longer term goals list, it seems to me POET optical micro processors will be superior to the smaller electronic transistors if only because photons don't collide with exch other in their travels, creating heat, but electrons do. My summary is over simplified, Just making a point to look forward to POET disrupting the computer processor industry as it developes and evolves.
Mack made to excellent point that the TSX has provided cover for POET, to remain, relativley under the radar as we got our ducks in a row. I think with management's long term strategic game plan, we are too far ahead for competivitors not to use our IP when they see what we have. All IMO of course.
