As many of you may be aware after reading my disclaimor - I'm new to the investment world and not a big tech head. As a result trying to add some value to this board is difficult - but through my work I'm pretty good at reading people and understainding human nature so heres my take on the lack of news and crappy SP.

As for the lack of news releases and frustrating share price - it really doesn't surprise me. if this technology is really as disruptive as it claims - our retail shares right now are really peanuts compared to the true value here (no disrespect especially to those with large investments who have been waiting alot longer than I have). Obviously a working prototype and a product is the main goal for POET here - if they are successful than the rewards are huge. But POET really gains nothing by putting out a NR on their progress. As much of the billion dollar industry POET has to gain - there are competitors or current players that will lose if POET is successful - so why tip them off to our progress and give them the chance to counter attack or get on the defensive before we're ready to enter the market.

just my 2 cents - realize the wait can be frustrating but possibly the lack of news is in our best interest.

Any thought or am I way off?
