I agree, poor choice of words.

I have always had difficulty understanding why we have to tell anyone (investors, that is) about this technology though. As long as the people who matter know, the people that own the server farms (initially), then all else should fall into place.

Realistically, who (investors) is going to ignore an upstart that suddenly has tens, or even hundreds of millions in revenues?

Would that have changed had the roadshows not been accomplished?

Will the up upside be more significant now that these so called platinum investors have advanced knowledge of what's coming down the pipe?

Perhaps, but we'll never know for sure in POET's case.

Call me old fashioned, but I'm more inclined to believe in those who put in hard work and good due diligence well in advance, rather than those who are delivered the package right into their lap just weeks before significant news. Their money was going to come anyways.

But then again, I would.
