Jackthebear: … how many foundries might be willing to pony up 15-20 million for the POET process????

My impression is that the question should be the other way round: How many foundries does POET need for the VCSEL transceiver production? And how many foundries are not only willing but also capable to retool their machinery quickly enough to have production capacities ready when POET needs them?

My personal guess is they'll make a deal with one or two large foundries (in Asia), but I could be wrong, of course.
