Message: Our Customer

My POET: Who will be our customer for VCSEL?

Why singular? Or did you just accidentally drop the 's' in 'customers'?

My POET: Light at the cost of copper is all well and good but we must have a port to plug it in. I hope our CEO can shed some light on this at the next cc.

Our CEO did so already. There won't and can't be any special POET optical ports. Please note those acronyms like QSFP, CFP etc. on page 18 of the corporate presentation! These are connector and protocol standards POET will utilize. The POET VCSEL transceiver will be a drop-in replacement. End customers won't have to replace all their equipment, but just their active optical cables.
