I am glad you hope I may be right Paulyboy but my belief is bigger than hope and approching faith.
Surely, a complete investment novice recognising that he should do some Due Diligence before investing in a venture capital techical company would want to get an idea about at least five elements to balance against the RISKS he percieves as an appreciation for what action to take. This would involve looking at:
The potential market for the product envisaged - NEED
The quality and degree of the Technical Development. QUALITY
The quatlity and experience of the Management Team - MANGEMENT ABILITY
The available cash to fund development - FUNDING
Who will potentiall buy the technology - CUSTOMERS.
My point is that at this particular moment in time when senior mangement are uniquely focused on a world wide briefing program of potential platinum shareholders, I hope you agree that management are now able to demonstrate that all those factors are catered for bar the last - CUSTOMERS!
I cannot for one minute imagine that given the successes this management has already achieved, in all other areas, that thay have not been successful in establishing a customer base and have developed strong relationships even commercial relationships with some of those Customers.
NDA are necessary but reportable occurances cannot be withheld indefinately I understand. There has been virtually complete silence about just who POET Technology Incorporated customers are. That silence is absolutely deafening. We already know that NASA (note AM CC mention of sattelite Data Comms at the CC) and the US Defence Department are connected through BAE, but there will be others, possibly many others, who will now understand why senior management can confidently claim the possesion of a disruptive technology whose IP is protected by patents and they (Poets potential customers) will have had time to assess the potential of th disruptive affects on their own technical development and just how POET can fill the gaps potential customers percieve in their development plan. Their appreciation of thoses factors in many cases will be sufficient for them to need to form relationship with PTI with some urgency..
For me the only significant factor to be revealed by PTI to both shareholders and the world's media is just who those customers are. The current build up, the notice to 'Expect Results' and the confidence we currently see, is all heading towards that Road to Damascus moment, when many will be blinded by the light of the Burning Bush that is POET. That moment is approaching, some more time is needed but we are now seeing the shape of the plan that is being steadily executed and revelations and news is part of that plan.
Just how long can they keep silence on this one key factor, just how long can the noises off be ignored as leaks slowly emerge, surely the truth the reality cannot be denied too much longer.
If our notional novice investor has no nerve or patience he should go, but any logical appreciation says stay and be rewarded.
Lets all hope its soon.
