When you look at the packaging and assembly required by state of the art silicon photonics it is not hard to see how manufactures/industry would not want the solution that is being developed by POET as quickly as it can be made available.
This made me wonder: of the types of deep-pocketed investors who are capable of understanding POET's technology, how many will want to first divest their shares they own in companies whose technology POET will render obsolete before they take their new position?
This would also be a part of their due diligence.
