As an example, TD Ameritrade in the US will automatically route orders to the TSX-V if there isn't enough liquidity on POETF. The buyers shows as TD Sec (007) on the Canadian ticker.

I have seen this happen in real-time with an American investor friend of mine who buys POETF in the US.

So this is not all Canadian buying. It seems the road-show is starting to make some noise.
