FJ, I'm one who has never thought POET had enough cash, and certainly not now. And I understand that the roadshow is not to directly pitch for venture capital, but... I find it difficult to believe that these "platinum" investors are going to be bidding up the price amonst and against each other, after all, they know that it's a multi-spot roadshow. And given the kind of buying power represented, must a small flex would cause the stock to rise strongly.

My experience has been that retail investors are the type that chase stocks when and if they rise precipitously. Thus, it would not surprise me at all if a few of the platinums do not themselves suggest a private placement.

Naturally, if POET could get a chunk of money by selling or even licensing the military applications, or any other segment of their potential market, that would be a wonderful way of raising cash to fund what is intended to become a much, much larger operation.

Some of the posts this weekend make me think if the horse had 20/20 vision, he still might not be able to see the cart!
