In this case with no analayst coverage management makes the contacts and sets up a meeting for the pitch. In this case a tech company like POET, would be heard by someone that runs a tech fund or small cap fund. US firms much larger than Canadian, so someone willing to take a 2% position in PTK could have a range of hundereds of thousands to say $5 million. Get a few funds like this and it would create large buying.
